The Stylish Tiles Hat

I've been wanting to get this hat pattern done since I first saw the tiles pattern.  I thought it would look best in a solid color.........that shows off the stitches a bit better.  I used donated yarn, so I can't give an exact amount for yardage.  This hat is stretchy enough to fit most adults.  Hope you like it!

As always, the pattern is free, but I do ask you to come to our Facebook page and like us and follow along with us as we deliver thousands of hats to people across the country.

If you have trouble printing this, it is available as a PDF here.

The Stylish Tiles Hat

Size 8 knitting needles

Worsted weight yarn – I used yarn that was donated and did not have a label, but I’d say less than 200 yards would be fine.

Work garter stitch brim:

         Row 1:                    Knit every stitch

         Rows 2-8:               Repeat Row 1

  3. Would this pattern work knitting in the round?

  4. @Jeri - it probably would, but you would have to switch out your wrong side stitches since all rows are "right" sides in knitting in the round....... You'd probably just have to take all even rows and switch K's for P's........

    1. You can go to the PDF link or email me. Your printer has settings that allow you to choose which pages to print.....or you can copy and paste into a word document. It depends on your printer and how you are using it. It's not a setting on the blog.

  6. Anonymous can copy and paste into a document program--that should avoid printing the extra opinions.

  7. The PDF or Word documents can be saved without printing also until you decide what to make.
