Introducing Volution, Walking Upwards and CAPtivating Comfort!

It's been a long time coming, but I finally got the latest 20 patterns put together into an e-book of PDF files to make it simple and easy for you to have them at your fingertips!

CAPtivating Comfort is selling for $10 and includes TWENTY patterns, two of which have never been published before.  The new patterns are also available through Ravelry for $5 each if you only wish to get one.  You can purchase the book on Ravelry or through the link to the right on this page.  Individual patterns are also available on Ravelry.

All patterns have instructions for all yarn weights, making it a breeze to use what you have in your stash to make a hat!  Volution can easily be adapted to just one color too.  Walking Upwards is a slip stitch color work hat that uses only one color per row so it's great for beginner and expert color work knitters!

Don't forget to get your DEHH removable sticker too!

  1. Hi, is this still active? This is the last post I can find and that was 2022. I wanted to say that I only found your page today. It was sent via 'All Free Knitting'. I have spent all today going back over every post. You have made some wonderful patterns. I can't knit in the 'round' I don't think I would struggle with the stitches it the needles. I have to have mine under my arms and now I'm older I find I are struggling with pain in my thumbs. I read about a book you put together about how to change between 'round' and 'straight' knitting. It wasn't until I got to your post on 30th May 2012 that I found a posting of how to change them. I will now need to go back and have a go at so many of your gorjus patterns. I was comments about where you send your hats and blankets and a few of people telling you how they have helped them. I have also read about you 'putting people straight' about negative views and messages and all I have to say is 'good for you'. You do all this out of the goodness of your heart, you found a need and are trying to fill it the best way you know how. It's so easy for people to criticize but do nothing about anything. I love your philosophy, your kind thoughts and actions. I will make a note of your blog so I don't forget it. There are just so many hats I want to make. I'm not into the coloured ones for me it's about the lacey ones. I would like to make more in DK, which I think is called Worsted in US. Once again I want to Thank you and say keep up the good work
