Introducing Twists & Twirls!

Here's another "Football Game" hat that Schnapps and I made on Sunday during the games.  Thanks Barb for the name!  It's a very quick knit and it's toasty warm.  A bit geometric in design, it looks great with super bulky or 6-weight yarn.  You could double up worsted weight yarn too.

It's a multiple of 10 pattern, so adjust accordingly!  The pattern will work if you double the stitches and use size 8 needles with worsted weight yarn, but the look will be much different.

I used Lion Brand Hometown USA for this.  I love that yarn...........it knits up so nicely and it's so warm!  It's Schnapps approved!

The pattern can be found as a PDF on Scribd.com .

  1. Thank you, thank you. Very interesting looking hat. And thank you for adding info on using smaller needles. Arthritic hands have a very difficult time holding on to the larger needles. You're the best, Robin.
